The Little Giant’z (TLG) is an animation service provider located in the heart of Southeast Asia, Jakarta, Indonesia. TLG was founded in 2016 and is built around an outstanding team of Industry experienced artists focused on achieving the highest quality that meets international standards and demands.
Problem
Initially, Little Giantz Studio had a website, but the design felt out of date and unorganized. The old website does not reflect Little Giantz Studio’s image as an animation company. The less attractive display of the portfolio is the weakness of their old website, coupled with the infrequent portfolio updates. The lack of animation or interactive elements also makes the website unable to show their identity as an animation studio.
The Goal
Our main goal is to update the Little Giantz Studio website design to make it look more modern, attractive, and in line with the company’s image as an animation studio. We will focus on improving the appearance of the portfolio page to make it more attractive and provide clear information. In addition, we will also ensure that the website can be accessed properly through various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
What We Did
We started by compiling a moodboard and looking for references for animation studio websites. Then, we focus on designing the main page design (homepage) first. Portfolio is the most important part of the Little Giantz Studio website, so we decided to feature a portfolio section on the homepage as well. This allows visitors to view and directly access works or projects that have been worked on by Little Giantz Studio. Apart from that, we also took the initiative to add simple motion effects to the Little Giantz Studio website, as well as animations when scrolling (animate on scroll), with the aim of making the website more attractive and not monotonous. Our designs are also responsive, adapting to different devices and screens. We aim to provide a consistent and enjoyable experience for our users across all platforms.
The Result
We have succeeded in transforming the Little Giantz website so that it has a more modern, attractive appearance and in accordance with the company’s image as an animation studio. We have successfully improved the portfolio page, allowing visitors to instantly view and access the work or projects Little Giantz has worked on. Our initiatives also include adding simple motion effects to the Solar Studio website and animations when scrolling through pages, to give an interesting impression and avoid monotony. In addition, we also create websites so that they can be accessed properly through various devices, including desktop computers, tablets and smart phones.
