Solar Animation Studio is an animation studio based on Surabaya. Solar Animation Studio had over 7 years of experience on animation industry, design and game, local and internationally. We are really pleased to have the opportunity to make their website, the website that will be their place to display their works.
The Problem
Actually, Solar Studio had already have their website, but the design were outdated and not presentable. The old website also didn’t represent Solar Studio’s image as a company that works on animation industry. The design of the portofolio page that wasn’t appealing was the minus point of their old website. Besides of that, they rarely update their portofolio. The lack of interaction option on their website also being the reason that the website didnt represent their image as an Animation Studio.
The Goal
Solar Studio Website is a website for Portofolio, to display their creation that they have been working on so far. Client’s priority is the website performance that could display well the videos content. Besides of that, we reccomend to do some improvement on the design so it would be neat and up to date, especially on the Portofolio page. The Portofolio page were the first page that will be viewed by the visitors to view the works from Solar Studio, so the page will be highlighted.
What We Did
Start from making the moodboard and looking for the references for the website, after that we continue to make the home page design. The most important part of their website is the portofolio page, so we also displayed the portofolio section on the home page, so that the visitor could see and access the works immediately. Besides of that, we initiatively add the motion effect and an animate on scroll effect so the website will be more catchy and not monotone
